What this page covers
RozMemo is staff attendance and salary software for small Indian businesses. This page explains, in plain language, what information RozMemo collects, why, and how it’s protected. Last updated: 19 September 2026.
Who this policy applies to
RozMemo is operated by Yogendra Kokate, an independent software developer based in Pune, India. If you’re a shop or business owner using RozMemo, this policy covers your account data and the employee data you enter into the app. If you have questions, email ykokate953@gmail.com.
What data RozMemo collects
From the business owner (you): your name, email address, business name, and payment details processed via Razorpay when you subscribe. RozMemo does not see or store your card, UPI, or bank details directly — Razorpay handles that.
About your employees, entered by you: employee names, roles, daily or monthly pay rates, daily attendance marks, leave records, and salary advances. This data exists so RozMemo can calculate what each employee is owed and generate a salary slip.
Automatically: basic technical data like login timestamps and device/browser type, used only to keep the service secure and working.
What RozMemo does not do
RozMemo does not sell your data or your employees’ data to anyone. It does not use your business data to train AI models, and it does not share employee data with advertisers or data brokers.
How your data is used
Solely to run the service you signed up for: marking attendance, calculating pay, tracking advances, generating and sharing salary slips (including the WhatsApp share feature, which you trigger manually each time), and billing you for your subscription.
Where your data is stored
Your data is stored in a cloud database accessed only through your authenticated account. Login uses one-time passcodes sent to your email — RozMemo does not store passwords. Data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections.
Who else sees your data
Only two categories of third parties ever touch your data: Razorpay, to process subscription payments, and the cloud infrastructure providers that host the database and application — they store data on RozMemo’s behalf and don’t use it for their own purposes. No one else.
How long data is kept
Your data is kept for as long as your account is active. If you stop using RozMemo or ask for your account to be deleted, your business and employee data is deleted within 30 days, except where RozMemo is legally required to keep billing records longer.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted at any time, by emailing ykokate953@gmail.com. Because you enter and control your employees’ data, you’re responsible for having the right to store it and for informing your employees, as their employer, about how their attendance and salary records are kept.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, the “last updated” date above will change and, where practical, active subscribers will be notified by email.
